Tiger Run RV Resort
Tiger Run RV Resort is a friendly, relaxed RV destination located in the heart of the Rocky Mountains and close to the major ski resorts of Summit County. Scenery unmatched in the world is everywhere, and our Resort has a 360-degree view of snow-capped mountain peaks. Blue sky and green-tree forests abound, and the crisp, clean mountain air is filled with the fragrances of Mother Nature.
Our Resort is in the heart of Colorado's best outdoor activity area, and we offer four seasons of fun for everyone. Hike or bike your way through incredible natural forests over 60 miles of paved pathways, from Breckenridge all the way to Vail! Skiing of all types is available at your choice of four nearby ski areas, and the two rivers adjacent to the Resort bring the wilds of nature right to your RV's door.
I had planned on staying over in Breckenridge for one night during a festival. I live in Littleton and wanted to give my kids one more camping night before winter. I had to send them pictures of my 1967 vintage camper before I booked to make sure it was allowed since it was over 20 years old. When I received no call back, I contacted once again to try to get a booking. I was then asked the length of my camper. After 24 hours of this game, I was told my camper is too short to be allowed in the resort?? Wow. I have camped all over the US and have never dealt with such a pretentious place in my life. I didn't know you had to own a tour bus to enjoy camping in my OWN STATE.. Just ridiculous.
Amazing place. The rv spaces are very wide and easy to pull into or back into. The resort is very nice and the staff is very friendly. I knew about the rules on what campers are allowed and it also states on their website that campers over 20 years would need to provide pictures prior to checking in for approval. I have a camper over 20 years and they had no problems with it. I would definitely stay here anytime I'm in the area. Love the location and all the amenities at this resort.
This is an example of you pay for what you get. This was a lovely campground/resort. Always something going on. The staff there were extremely nice and we're a lot of help with places to eat and attractions. The sites we're very spacious and nicely manicured. The pool is indoor but was good size and if I remember correctly, was a full 8' deep which you don't find much any more. The two hot tubs were nice and the arcade rooms was nicely equipped. The gym was a nice feature. It had the basics but was still more than others I have stayed at. The bathrooms we're very nice and clean. The only complaint from this group was that there was only one toilet for the men to use in the whole park (😒). The laundry room was very up to date. Each machine had a credit card machine on it so you didn't have to walk around with 10 lbs of quarters or fumble with the bill changer. Over all this will be my place to stay when visiting colorado.
The resort looks beautiful in the photos and the staff member was friendly on the phone. But just so potential guests are aware the resort is pretty restrictive on the types of RV/camper that it allows. We have a brand new pop-up in silver/gray that looks very nice, but the HOA wants to keep the aesthetics nice, so only hard sided allowed. So definitely check fine print before you book: "The following are not permitted at Tiger Run per County Ordinances: pop-up campers; tent trailers; tents; truck campers; tiny homes/trailers; horse trailers, or; recreational vehicles with canvas/fabric slide-outs. If an RV is older than 20 years, entry is subject to approval and current photos of both the interior and exterior of the RV must be sent to park staff for approval. Only 36’ or longer class A motor homes are allowed from May 1-October 1 in any Blue River or Deluxe sites from May 1-October. All RVs must be fully self-contained. Tiger Run Resort reserves the right to inspect any RV prior to entry. If the RV does not meet the requirements, entry to the park will be denied WITHOUT refund. If a guest with a future reservation sells, trades or plans on bringing another RV into the resort, the Park office must be contacted to update the RV information and assure that standards are met."
I've been to this rv resort about 20 times. Great place. They keep the riffraff out. You can have a NICE trailer but nothing less or a Class B, C or A in nice condition. Best place to hand out in Breck. The staff is awesome.
