We've been going to Gateway Park Fun Center on and off for years, depending on the age and interests of our kids. We recently enjoyed a round of mini-golf with our 9 year old. The course is well-maintained and in good condition after all these years. I can imagine the mini-golf being busy on a weekend or summer evening; we had the luxury of playing late morning before heading off for a picnic in nearby Heil Valley Ranch.
Kids always enjoy winning tickets in the arcade and cashing them in for a variety of plastic toys, trinkets, and treasures. The young people that typically work there, oddly don't seem to tire of dealing with dizzying devils half their age.
My son also enjoyed the mini go-carts even though he was about 2 inches shy of being tall enough for the regular ones. Two weeks later, he's still telling people he knows how to drive a car.
