It's hard to fault the Garden of the Gods, but one negative is the sheer number of people that you will find. I can definitely suggest visiting the park during the week rather than the weekend. We visited the park multiple times during a stay in Colorado Springs, using a motorcycle, car, hiking, and finally via electric bike on a guided tour. The absolute best way to tour the park is via bicycle or walking. The Visitor Centre was well worth stop, I can pick up a free map and also get some more information about the geology and history of the park.

Such a beautiful place. If you're in the springs check it out. Their visitor center is really nice. It has a museum of the history and what's natural to the area, and they also offer kids programs for the summer. We went on the busiest tourist weekend of the year. There are several mini parking lots throughout the park. If you can't find parking there, they offer free shuttles from the larger parking area into the park as well. Even if hiking isn't your thing, Juniper loop will take you through the park so you can get a good view from your vehicle.

This place is AMAZING!!!! Absolutely LOVED IT and will DEFINITELY be going back.. only had a chance to stop by on the way back from Wyoming to Texas and WOW! Words really can't describe the beauty of it... Did y'all know 'America the beautiful' was written there? The staff was nice, the coffee was great and the views were unforgettable. I will plan for a good 3hrs there next time. Hiking, rock climbing, segway, horse and jeep tours and so much more.

What a wonderful place, well kept, clean, around huge, majestic rocks, which are true Nature wonders - see pictures for your own assessment; although, these pictures do not do the deserved justice. I also loved the man-made trail that takes you all the way up to the very top of the rock called the Sleeping Giant. I believe the Visitor Center closes at 7:00pm. I was super happy of being able to stroll around the park after hours, from 7-9pm. Perfect weather too!

This park is beautiful (EVEN THOUGH ITS JUST ROCKS)!!! The Garden of Gods is spectacular. The rock features here are towering over you the minute you walk into the park. The roads here are a little confusing but not hard to figure out. Be sure to bring PLENTY of water. Since there aren't many trees, there is not a lot of shade! You can free climb some of these rocks, which i personally never would attempt but it is awesome to watch people! There is a visitor center with a decently sized gift shop and a O.K. restaurant. This is a must see attraction when visiting CS.
