The 19-year old Aspen Chapel Gallery features five to seven changing exhibitions every year of Roaring Fork Valley artists. Each cooperative show has a coordinator who, working with the Gallery Director, chooses 10 or more artists to participate. A wide variety of art is featured with themed exhibitions or shows revolving around a specific artistic medium, such as watercolor or photography. The participating artists come form varied segments of the community and represent the widest possible spiritual and religious backgrounds. The artwork is for sale and the Chapel benefits through contributions from the artists. Openings are well attended, and the Chapel Gallery plays an important role in the local art community.
