Taste of Vail infuses local flavor with top chefs, artisans, experts, and food enthusiasts from around the globe for a four-day event that happens the first weekend of April.

Schedule of Events:

10:30-11:30 am: The Library and Current Release with iconic Napa Vineyards at Grandview Room, Lionshead

Join Zd Wines, Reynolds Family Wines, Truchard Winery & Fraiche Wine Group to explore a tasting of their Cabernet Sauvignon from their library collection and current release. Meet who has created iconic Napa Wine.on Fri Apr 05 2024 at 10:30 AM at the Grand View Room for an unforgettable wine experience. This exclusive event celebrates the rich heritage of Napa Vineyards and showcases the library and current releases of  Cabernet Sauvignon.

12-2:30 pm: MOUNTAIN TOP TASTING at Top of Eagle Bahn Gondola

Join Taste of Vail for the creme de la creme of outdoor tastings. Held at 10,350 feet above sea level, this event offers spectacular mountain vistas accompanied by gourmet food, beer, wine, and spirits. Snow or shine this is an event not to be missed.Please use your ski pass if you have one. If not, foot passes will be provided.

This event will happen in rain, snow or shine, so be prepared for Spring weather in the Rocky Mountains.

3:00pm-5:00pm: Colorado Wine Seminar & Tasting at Grandview Room, Lionshead

Did you know that Colorado has over 160 wineries and that Wine Enthusiast Magazine named Colorado a top wine destination in 2018? This seminar will allow you to learn about our state's AVAs and taste the outstanding wines selected for the 2021 Governor's Cup Collection, ranging from traditional grapes to innovative styles. Come enjoy the tasting.

5:30pm-6:30pm: Whisky Advocate Cocktail Seminar: From Classics to Modern Classics at Grandview Room, Lionshead

Join us for this hands-on tasting, where we will sip and explore the cocktail culture’s most classic recipes, such as the Manhattan, Whisky Sour, Margarita and more. This entertaining seminar will demonstrate how top bartenders are transforming these classics into unique and delicious recipes by adding additional spirit modifiers that you can easily make at home.

6:00 pm: Peay Wine Dinner

Join Root & Flower and Andy Peay of Peay Vineyards for a 5 course dinner with wine pairings (vintage verticals!). The perfect evening during the Taste of Vail weekend.
