Summer Concert Series - The Guardians Band

Gather the whole crew and dance to our incredible line-up of bands coming to Highlands Heritage Regional Park (behind the Highlands Ranch Post Office). Bring a blanket, a picnic, or money to purchase food truck treats and enjoy dinner and live music while watching the sun set behind the Rocky Mountains.

The Guardians Band (Music from the Guardians of the Galaxy movies)
The concept for the Guardians Band was to start with the songlist from the Guardians of the Galaxy Movies. Starlord’s (Chris Pratt) most prized possession is his Walkman with a mix tape of primarily hits from the 70’s. Songs like Hooked on a Feelin’ Fooled Around and Fell in Love, OOO Child, Billie Jean, and Cherry Bomb evoke the era of 70’s rock and include a new audience of millennials and beyond who love the Marvel movie classic. When our band performed at my son’s wedding the bride and groom requested a bunch of songs from the movie and the Guardians Band was born. Quality and musicianship is the hallmark of our performances. Our lead vocalists, Alissa Kotranza, Evan Sauvage and Tim Rosendo were top singers for the 17th Avenue Allstars vocal band. They bring years of experience to the band with killer vocals and great stage presence.

Our rhythm section consisting of 4 in-demand players: Guy Steagall lead guitar, Billy Ray Stevens keys, Byron Dudrey bass and Tony Stevens drums, bring years of experience touring with major acts and performing with top Denver Bands. This combination of talent and experience brings our audiences a truly top shelf act and one to make it’s mark on Colorado and beyond.
