Motown Nye Gala With The Motortown All-Stars

For the last night of our Holiday Concert Series, the Sheridan Arts Foundation presents the Motown New Year’s Eve Gala with the Motortown All-Stars at the historic Sheridan Opera House on Sunday, December 31 at 10:30 p.m., doors at 9:00 p.m. Celebrate the new year with an over the top celebration and the greatest hits of Motown including “Tears of a Clown,” “My Girl,” “Signed, Sealed, Delivered” and “You Can’t Hurry Love” from former members of The Temptations, the Miracles and the Contours.

General admission tickets are standing room and include a glass of champagne, party favors and a balloon drop with our midnight countdown. Reserved balcony seats get the same plus hors d’oeuvres and an open bar.

The Motortown All-Stars are an all-star lineup of world class vocalists drawn from the ranks of the legendary groups that made many of these hits timeless classics. This dynamic vocal group is assembled from members of The Contours, The Miracles (Rock & Roll Hall Of Fame and Hollywood Walk Of Fame Inductees) and from former members of The Temptations.

The Motown Sound was called the sound of young America, but it became the soundtrack of the lives of generations around the world for more than 50 years. The Motown catalog includes some of the most enduring songs in popular music, with the most universal appeal of any musical form. Motown music has such strong musical hooks that it has repeatedly been used in everything from movie soundtracks to commercials for the last 50 years, providing some of the most recognizable songs in music history.

Tickets for entry to our New Years Eve party on December 31st range from $125 for GA standing room, to $250 for rows L-Q which include drinks and appetizers all night, and $500 for premium seats in row K plus a $5 ticketing fee. ALL MAIN FLOOR TICKETS ARE STANDING ROOM ONLY. Limited leg room in Rows O & P.
