415 East 6th Street

On the grounds of the World's Largest Hot Springs Pool we offer a 107 room lodge, water slides, mini golf, a premier athletic club, and the spectacular new Spa of the Rockies. In the tradition of the West, the complete renovation of the historic sandstone bathhouse is a tribute to the spiritual beauty of this majestic landscape.

There was nothing wrong with this Lodge. However, I was expecting more of a resort-feel and it was definitely just a hotel. I believe you do get a package deal with the room, breakfast (walk across to hot springs to their poolside cafe), and hot springs entrance fee. It was convenient to walk across the new bridge to the downtown area (shops/restaurants). But honestly, the room we had was half the size of a standard hotel room and very crowded for our family of four. Nothing extra was really included in the room. You had to pay extra to use the workout center and of course the spa services. The breakfast was better than a standard quick-serve breakfast with an omelette station and more. But it did get crowded if you didn't arrive before 8:30 to eat. Overall, we enjoyed our stay here, but not sure it was worth the nightly rate.

I have been coming to this hotel off and on for years, but the quality of service has steadily decreased while the price has continued to increase. They are clear that check-in time is at 4:00 but it is inconvenient and seemed to waste part of our vacation day waiting to get into our room. Our room was quite small and despite the air conditioning it was stuffy inside. During our three night stay our room was not cleaned or serviced once, and we were out of the room all day every day. The bed is wrapped in plastic (gross) and I can only guess why. This caused us to sweat heavily in the night even though we ran the a/c. I'm not usually a night sweater either. The rest of the time the hotel felt like any other hotel...except that it is so expensive. I've stayed at the Holiday Inn Express in Glenwood for $99.00 a night and gotten better service and had the same quality of room / breakfast as this place. I will never come back to this place not because it is so terrible, but because there is nothing special about it that makes it worth the exorbitant rate. If you can, stick with the Holiday Inn Express, or the Hampton Inn as they are far cheaper and you will get the same or better level of quality. They also give free admission packages for the Iron Mountain Hot Springs which is a better option as the main Glenwood pool is loud, crowded and doesn't have enough seating or shade for it's guests.

Its not bad. Rooms are nice and clean The staff is friendly. Parking is convenient. Not sure its the best value even with the spa discount, free breakfast and springs admission included.

I didn’t read every website detail, but I felt the pictures portrayed that the hotel was at the hot springs and it was not, you have to walk about a block, then wait in line and give your name to be allowed into the hot spring. The slide was an additional cost per person, as well as the gym. The rooms were small, I could touch the ceilings in the halls they were so low. We felt they advertised a resort style stay and that’s not what was received. For almost $400/night we were a little disappointed.

Nice rooms. Great temp control. Comfy beds. Toilet required a minor repair to operate properly, which I was able to handle on my own... Taking care of business so we could take care of our business. The downside: we had a Chromecast we wanted to use, and their wireless gateway wouldn't let the device on without completing a form, and the hotel's "24-hour" connection-support people weren't reachable... At all. I called. I went to the desk. I asked for a callback. It's been more than a day and I am going to guess that it's not gonna happen. Oh well; I should have brought a travel router. They lost a star due to unresponsive IT.
