FIBArk: Whitewater Festival

2023 marks the 75th anniversary of FIBArk, the nation's oldest whitewater festival and Salida's signature event. Since 1949, every June during the Spring snow runoff, Salida has hosted FIBArk, "First in Boating on the Arkansas."

8:45 AM: Down River Race (26 mile), Raft Start - RMOC to Salida 

9:00 AM: Down River Race (26 mile) Kayakj and SUP Marathon Race - Kayak and SUP Start - RMOC to Salida 

9:30 AM: Mountain Bike Race Start - S Mountain 

10:00 AM: Riverside Park Opens + Running Races + Bike Race Awards - Stonebridge to Salida 

11:30 AM: Heavy Half - Hecla to Salida 

12:30 PM: Crazy River Dog -Salida Whitewater Park 

1:00 PM: Live Music - Rocky Mountain Grateful Dead Revue and Tenth Mountain Division - Riverside Park 

1:30 PM: Down River Race, Novice - Marvin Park to Salida 

3:00 PM: Down River Awards - Salida Whitewater Park
