Birds are everywhere – in the trees, in the sky, in the ponds, and in your backyard! Join Boulder County Parks and Open Space Volunteer Naturalists as they introduce children and their families to some of our flying neighbors. Using hands-on resources, we will learn “what is a bird?”, and how different birds find the food, water, shelter, and space they need to live. You can also see how you measure-up to life-size silhouettes of a great blue heron, eagle, and great-horned owl (photo-op!). And, we will observe and touch real bird nests and wonder at the many ways that birds make homes to raise their babies. Included with Museum admission!
